Cowabunga!

Hello!! My name is Laki (He/Him) and this is my little slice of the web! Well, I've got a lot of random interests to talk 'bout, so things here tend to be quite random (maybe messy at times too lol). I'll be writing every once in a while about photography, music, games, movies/shows, maybe guitar and keys?, as well as my random af thoughts and my poetry (which u can find on the poetry section on the main menu, it's got a completely different design from this page here so go check it out). Also, i've got a guestbook, so please leave a message if you want to.

Well, as for bands, I really like The Beatles (duh), Pink Floyd, Oasis, Angra, Megadeth, Metallica, etc. Among my favourite games are Minecraft, as well as the Sonic franchise, the Mario franchise, etc. Even though I haven't played much Sonic games, it's something I grew up with so yeahhh it really has a place on my heart. Maybe I should write a whole page on my history with gaming, from my parents gifting me the Playstation 2, my very first console, through gaming A LOT on my Xbox 360 (well i can easily say it was the console that stuck with me the most), getting gifted a PS4 by my grandma, getting more into retrogaming (and getting a DS and a now defunct Wii), to finally getting gifted a decent gaming laptop by my uncle in 2023 and getting a PS3 earlier this year.

Regarding movies, i think my favourite one is probably Stand By Me, based on a Stephen King novel, followed by the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy and by How to Train Your Dragon which MASSIVELY impacted me as a kid, both the movies and the media surrounding it like the tv shows and the School of Dragons MMO.

Solaris by Stanislaw Lem is my favourite book, followed by maybe Wonder, which i read when i was 10 (Auggie's age) and reread at 15. I like science fiction, but read I some other genres as well. Unfortunately i've been quite dormant with my reading habits this year (that damn phone) but I bought a lot of new books at a fair recently and plan on getting back into reading (i prob should move this to the blog section later lmao).

Who's your favourite beatle?

Uhm, i think john is my least favourite one so that already gets one of em out of the way. But as for the other three, i really like them yk. I mean, i really like ringo but i wouldnt say he's my favourite, but it's really hard for me to decide between paul and george so yeah i'd say it's one of them two!
